Q: What types of services are available?
A: Ingleside Homes provides residents with many types of services. We serve three meals daily in our dining room, weekly housekeeping, maintenance and security services. We have an on-site hair salon, gift shop, wellness center and laundry. In both our Independent Retirement Apartments and our Assisted Living, our residents may add on aide service to take care of their laundry for an addition fee.
Q: How will I receive my mail?
A: Ingleside Homes Retirement Apartments has mail delivered to individual mail slots. When packages are delivered that exceed the mailbox capacity, they are received and documented at the reception desk. The resident will be notified that they have received a parcel. If the package is large and/or heavy, our maintenance services will work with the resident to arrange room delivery.
A: Ingleside Homes Assisted Living residents receive mail services at our front desk and can collect small packages as well. Larger deliveries will be coordinated with our maintenance staff.
Q: What kind of activities do you have?
A: Ingleside Homes hosts many social, educational and wellness programs at each community. Weekly and monthly calendars are posted in common areas of the Retirement Apartments and Assisted Living communities, respectively. Daily announcements of upcoming events are also provided. We have many excellent local artists that provide programs at our Downs Cultural Center throughout the year. All events are available to residents. We welcome your family and friends to our major events held at the Downs Cultural Center located on the main floor of our Retirement Apartments facility.
A: Both our Independent community and Assisted Living have a Social Activities Director on-site that hosts a variety of activities every day. Participation is encouraged but optional. There are also trips to nearby shops, farmers' markets, restaurants and other venues.
Q: If I want to attend religious services am I able to do that?
A: Ingleside Homes is a multi-faith community with nearby religious services in the surrounding neighborhoods. We offer non-denominational services weekly and Catholic services every other Wednesday. We encourage residents to attend services, and take part in religious discussions and welcome visits from local religious leaders to support the spiritual needs of our community.
Q: Who can I get help from when I have a concern or question that is not medical in nature?
A: Every resident has access to our two social workers iin the Resident Services office. Social Workers are here to listen and counsel, help you through a tough time, resolve an issue, or connect you with others who can help.
