Independence is frequently cited as the most cherished aspect of an older adult's life. However, many older adults encounter problems as their physical health declines and their resources diminish. Seniors are often unaware or hesitant to request assistance.
Ingleside Senior Services is the link between the needs of older adults and community service providers. Our program provides information, referrals, and case management for seniors who wish to remain safely in their own homes.
"Ingleside Senior Services helped me when I needed it most. I didn't know what to do or whom to turn to. I felt the weight lift off my shoulders when Ingleside helped me to get a homemaker and transportation services."
An in-home needs assessment identifies the support needed to help a senior to continue to live safely at home. A case manager conducts a confidential assessment of a senior's needs.
The Senior Safety Services profides FREE home safety inspections and/or minor home repairs or modifications. Eligibility is based on Federal Poverty Guidelines.
